Networking Operating systems

Network operating systems are use to run computers which act as server. They provide the capabilities need for network operation. There are a number of network operating systems in the market to day.These include the following:
  1. Windows network operating system
Windows network operating system families provide different networking technologies and features. Some of the window network operating systems include:
a) windows file sharing operating system
b) windows XP networking
c) windows network programming
d) windows seven (7) networking

2. Linux networking operating system

This is another commonly used network operating system a part from windows.
It includes the following packages:
i) Samba for Linux networking which supports file and printer sharing a cross different operating systems.

ii) Linux networking and kernel programming

3. Mac network operating system.

This is another type of network operating system that is use after window and Linux.

4. Netware network operating system.
